Postdoctoral research position in gravitational-wave physics and particle cosmology in Brazil

The Gravity and Particle Cosmology group at the International Institute of Physics (IIP, Natal, Brazil) invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in gravitational-wave physics and particle cosmology.

The initial appointment will be for two years with extension up to 4 years overall. Selected candidates will be able to start anytime before October 2018.

Beside its LIGO activities, IIP has a broad range of interests,including string theory, condensed matter, quantum information, statistical physics, gravity and cosmology. Faculty members at IIP in gravity and particle cosmology are profs. Farinaldo Queiroz and Riccardo Sturani, and the group also include 2 post-docs and 3 graduate students.
