AstroParticle and Cosmology (APC) is a laboratory focused on the field of particle astrophysics, with interests in cosmology, gravitation, high-energy astrophysics and the physics of neutrinos. It has been part of the LISA program since its creation in 2005 and played a key role in setting up the LISA-France consortium, a group of 9 French Institutes interested in the LISA program.

APC provided the modulation unit of the LISA Pathfinder (LPF) mission and is now strongly involved in preparing the data analysis of the mission, through its François Arago Centre (FACe), a multi-mission space data centre.

It has also been involved in the preparation of the LISA mission through R&D efforts in laser stabilisation as well as setting up a low noise test facility for electronic equipment in the low frequency range of LISA. Finally, in order to better understand the mission at the system level, the APC team is building a model of LISA, LISA On Table (LOT), which will allow to test the propagation of noises through the LISA constellation.

Data analysis for LISA is also a priority of the APC group. Together with the ARTEMIS group in Nice, it developed LISAcode, a modular numerical code which allows to simulate (e)LISA data. The group also played an important role in the task force assembled in 2011 to simulate LISA data for identifying the scientific program of the new mission. Future involvement in the data analysis of LISA is connected for APC with the François Arago centre and the presence of experts in space data processing.

The theory group of APC is also working on the science of LISA with a special focus on cosmological issues.
